The Kaleidoscopic swirl of colour, the madness born through dancing without reservations, an unparalleled freedom of movement, the riot of prints that mimic her life – our collection pays homage to the woman revelling in Raas. Our love for and fascination with Raas – an exuberant folk dance that our motherland of Gujarat en masse participates in – can be blamed on our lineage and some hardcore nostalgia. And this season we see it come alive in our creations that take on bold colours, playful prints, original embroideries, and mostly, a lot of fun.

No collection taking us back to our utopian summers in Gujarat while growing up would be complete without appearances from the classic Bandhani, Patola and Ikat prints. But like with everything else, we do this our way, showcasing them through our lens of signature digital prints. Look closely and you will probably also spot time-honoured cane-weaving tradition of the Kotwalia tribe of Gujarat, reinterpreted through metal and thread interweaving techniques on our jackets.
