With a penchant for Indian heritage, art and design, Lara is known to draw inspiration from them to create pieces that become statement art themselves. In line with this vision, Lara has launched her SS'18 collection which is inspired primarily by the gorgeous temples and other architectural marvels in India and the beautiful construction of their elaborate structures. She has used these beautiful silhouettes to create intricate and stunning design patterns primarily made of antique and vintage silver with gold jadtar.

 

The collection also features silver kadas tied in leather and set with pearls, edgy geometric ring sets with gold beads, and statement Jadau earrings in Vilandi Pearls and coloured stones. She has also designed an array of elaborate layered neckpieces and chokers set with African Batik Bones, silver beads and leather. Exotic elements such as quills, ethically sourced warthog tusks from Africa, and African masal (Masai) beads are used to create jewellery that is full of character - a humble representation, expression and extension of herself.
