Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated action thriller, Bholaa, hit the big screens on Thursday and it’s all that people are talking about. People are flocking the theatres to catch Bholaa (Ajay Devgn) going through a tough journey with just one goal - to meet his daughter. The trailer, which was also unique, for being the first Hindi trailer launched in IMAX 3D format, gave a taste of what’s to come. Directed by Ajay Devgn, the film is not your ordinary action thriller, it has the warmth of fatherly love as it illustrates how a father can go to any lengths for the sake of his child. The movie also features Tabu playing the role of a kickass police officer who rains some serious blows on criminals, all the while wearing a sling. Believe it or not, this was Tabu’s first action stint. People were also pleasantly surprised to see Abhishek Bachchan in a special cameo! Bholaa is also visually stunning, and the masses are lauding the film for its the superb VFX. So far, the film seems to have had a solid head start on its first day and judging by the reviews and audience responses, people will continue to cheer Bholaa in his tumultuous journey at the big screens for a while.

Bholaa stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu as leads and features Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao and other in supporting roles. South Indian actress Amala Paul will also be making a special appearance. It follows the story of Bholaa, who after 10 years of imprisonment, is finally going home to meet his young daughter. This proves to be a highly difficult task as he goes through a dangerous path full of drugs, gangs, and corruption, with death lurking around every corner. The movie is co-produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films and Dream Warrior Pictures.
