Mumbai based label ‘TISA’ to debut at Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019 by presenting their inspiring collection named ‘SHEY’ on the final day at 1:30 PM. 

‘SHEY’ by TISA describes the mesmerizing textures, a soothing colour palette and the breath-taking beauty of Ladakh, as an inspiration that never ceases to inspire.

The collection has carefully handpicked yarns such as organic cotton, silks and wools which are dipped in the quintessential Ladakhi palette, spanning from Grey and Red to Ivory and Navy Blue to Black. Age old techniques like tie & dye, fluid surface ornamentation and sleek texturing, along with motifs from the local life are deftly used to re imagine a surreal mesh of Ladakh’s inimitable minimalism and richness. ‘SHEY’ evokes a feeling of being completely at ease in one’s own skin, allowing the wearer to make his sartorial expressions at his own will and pace. 

TISA aims to deliver a highly curated collection of menswear ensemble including apparel and footwear to shine for the festive season.

TISA is the hub for men, with an amalgamation of both classic & contemporary wear which aims to cater to men across age groups and their diverse styles.

About the Label:

The label was founded in 2010 and is the brain child of Timir Savla (Founder) and Samira Lavekar (Designer & Co-Founder). Right since its inception, TISA, as a label, has only risen upwards, becoming a one-of-a-kind label whose malleable designs transcend occasions and becomes timeless wearable keepsakes. While you’re likely to find an outfit for every occasion at TISA, the label maintains a special focus on grooms-wear, pouring all heart into making the most memorable day in a man’s life even more special.

About the Designer:  Samira Lavekar - Designer/Co-Founder

Samira’s unwavering passion and design philosophy sowed the seeds for TISA. An alumna of SNDT University, followed by courses at London College of Fashion and Central St. Martins, where her love for pattern making evolved and her vision to fill the void in men’s fashion has helped carve a unique niche for TISA. Samira is inspired by everything – from food to buildings and structures to Wes Anderson films. Her sensibilities are deeply influenced by Scandinavian minimalism, which paired with her Indian roots give a unique persona to TISA.

About the Founder:  Timir Savla - Director/Co-Founder

Timir is one half of TISA. His impeccable sense of style and sharp business administration skills have played a crucial role in shaping TISA into the brand it is today. His humility and minimalistic approach reflect distinctly in TISA’s philosophy.
