What Bollywood stars can teach you about wearing tracksuits to the airport?

If there is one non-negotiable off-duty essential, it’s the tracksuit. Especially when it comes to travel wardrobes, it's ticks both important boxes: stylish (when done right) and easy to take through security checks. And celebrities have nailed the formula to the perfect tracksuit pap pic. While some celebrities like sticking to their classic blacks and blues, others are game to try something new (and sometimes bold) each time they head out to board a plane. Wish to add tracksuits to your travel repertoire? Let Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others inspire your next travel look.

Clearly, bold hued versions of this wardrobe basic are a big favourite. Recently, while returning from Bengaluru, Deepika Padukone wore a Nike tracksuit in an electric shade of yellow. Her look comprised of joggers enhanced with white piping along their sides, and a matching jacket accentuated with panels of cobalt blue and white. In the past too, Deepika Padukone has been seen twinning with Ranveer Singh in a striking orange tracksuit by Nike, where as Ranveer Singh opted for a black and grey version by Gucci.

Another time, Janhvi Kapoor opted for a pair of bright pink track pants, which she wore with a white crop top. A matching acid pink jacket was casually tied around her waist. Malaika Arora is not one to play it safe either: the star was seen in a bold red logo tracksuit by Fendi featuring logged panels running down the sides of her tracksuit, ensuring her look scored high on recall value.

For days you're not feeling bright colours, a monochrome option might be up your alley. Priyanka Chopra's black tracksuit featured checkered panel on the sides of her joggers and sweatshirt; while Athiya Shetty picked a classic black version that is perfect for a no-fuss look.

Headed to the airport? Trade those bulky jeans in for an easygoing tracksuit, and do not forget your sunnies and that hold-all travel tote.
