MATTAR MOONG DAL KA KEEMA INGREDIENTS 250gm split green gram (moong daal) 1 teaspoon ghee 30gms garlic, chopped 150gms onions, chopped 1 1/2 tsp ginger, chopped 1 teaspoon green chilli, chopped 200gm green peas 60gm tomatoes, chopped 1/2 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tbsp lime juice A Few ginger juliennes 1 tsp coriander leaves, chopped Salt to taste METHOD Wash green gram properly & soak for 1 hour. Drain and fry the gram till it turns a light golden colour. Heat ghee, add chopped garlic and chopped onions and Fry to a golden brown colour. Add ginger, green chillies and toss. Add green peas and fry lightly. Add chopped tomatoes and fry. Then add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and stir. Add fried green gram in this masala, with 1 cup of water and mix well. Simmer for some time. Add salt, garam masala powder and lime juice. Garnish with ginger juliennes and chopped coriander leaves.
