The brand will manifest its innovative collection at the Bombay Times Fashion Week on 14th October, 2018 in St. Regis, Mumbai from 7.00pm onwards. The showcase will see a stunning Bollywood star walking the aisles of the beautiful Moroccan garden which will be entitled as the one main highlight of the evening.
Athena, the Greek Goddess represented wisdom, and feminism, she was the patron goddess of heroic endeavor. Keeping in mind, the collection exuberates the spirit of youth and aspires a woman to wear the grace of wisdom with class.
What you can gather from a peek from the designer collection for BTFW is their aesthetic ode to the Greek-Moroccan culture. It is a passionate affair between the strong color and crafts of India and an urban outlook that is synonymous with the indigenous tribes of Morocco. With a proud display of cultural crafts with contemporary themes, the collection will be bringing to the frontlines an array of designs that speak volumes about their rich heritage.
The collection gives a new breath to the techniques of handmade embroideries and a palette that consists of intriguing shades from rustic blues, luscious lavenders to the infusion of dusty mints that are powerful yet amorphous.
The designer’s keen observation of the Morocco interiors and the magical palaces ensures a strong play of ‘shimmery shishas’, beaten silver and gold threads, floral tinted rose gold embellishments beautified onto the exquisite bridal lehengas with stunning shades of pink through the entire collection forming fascinating patterns in unexpected instances.
Think pretty designs in organic textiles with the sheen of real zari and 3D florals with geometrical patterns, exclusive arc motifs, the magnificent passion flowers that will be featured in elegant ways across the collection.
Through the combination of its modern cuts and finishing touches and embroideries sourced from the Moroccan fashion language, the collection will break down some of the biggest couture trends for the fresh-off-the-runway wedding looks.
