FLUTED

Fluted glass is making a big comeback, and in this bathroom it adds a glam and retro Art Deco touch. The bespoke marble basin is warmed up by fittings in warm metal, including a reclaimed radiator, brass taps and shelving and a vintage, metal-framed mirror.

Get the look: The Fifties mirror with metal frame is from Fiona McDonald. The taps are from Barber Wilsons. The marble is from Marble City. The walls are painted with French Grey Dark Eggshell by Little Greene. Kate Moss, London, 2006, isby Mario Testino. Limited-edition signed prints of the photograph are available at Dominic Guerrini.

LOTUS FLOWER

The lotus flowers on the walls are as much artworks as they are wall lights. They add interest to an otherwise empty wall, and are rather mesmerising. Tiny mother-of-pearl detailing on the drawer fronts and the oval Agape bath soften the masculine, bitter chocolate coloured Italian marble.

Get the look: The marble slabs are from Stone Age and the bespoke unit with mother-of-pearl drawers is by Carden Cunietti. This bath and basin are by Agape. The Lotus Flower wall lights are by Valerie Wade. The Hamman towel is by Khadi and Co at The Conran Shop, which also supplied the back brush.

GLOBE LIGHTS

A pair of globe shaped wall lights brighten up this small bathroom and tie in well with the underwater theme, while the brass fittings match the brass taps, radiator, mirror and ceiling.
