Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya has always been a trendsetter when it comes to initiating progressive conversations about less discussed topics among the youth and this season is no different. In the first episode, the story is weaved around a topic which is mostly shushed around - Male Infertility. Even though male infertility is as common as female infertility, it is often ignored and not spoken about. The episode also showcases how Gen Z is very vocal about the way they want to lead their lives which may or may not comply with societal norms. Whether it is the decision to push having a kid at a later age or choosing their careers over starting a family, they are confident about their choices and do not shy away from standing up for them. The episode talks about both these issues in a way that is aligned with how Gen Z thinks. Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya is a show which beautifully depicts the problems faced by the youth and how the right understanding & support from their loved ones and partners can help them sail through. In fact the entire season will be echoing the same sentiment and all the episodes will revolve around the core theme – ‘Crazy dil crazy hum, lage sab easy jab tum ho sang…’

Capturing her overall PTKK experience, Sakshi Sharma says, “This episode is really different, as it talks about an unusual topic – DINK which will definitely create conversation amongst the viewers. While Priyal was a great co-star, the whole team made the shoot fun and exciting. Portraying the role of Aaliya was fun as I haven’t really played the role of a bold and confident girl before. My character Aaliya believes in DINK and is very ambitious and driven. People may think that playing such character it is a cake walk, but it is hard work. I hope my fans enjoy my role in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and continue loving my work.” 

Sharing his excitement about his episode in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya season 12, Priyal Gupta said, “I’m extremely thrilled and if I have to give a one liner of the episode to all my fans and viewers, I would say that this is a love story which is full of compassion and connection. Love is so powerful that it can being two people together who want different things from their life. Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya does not just present love stories but it also initiates conversations amongst the viewers with some exceptional themes. Our story talks about DINK. My character Shivin wants to have a child but he cant have one whereas he falls for a girl who believes in DINK. What happens next when these two come together? I'm sure viewers will love to watch it.” 

Season 12 will kickstart this Saturday with a unique love story that revolves around Shivin (Priyal Gupta) and Aaliya (Sakshi Sharma). Shivin is a good-looking and professionally successful man but emotionally detached. Because of his inability to have kids, he is divorced. He loves kids and wants to have one but, in this case, fate isn’t in his hands. Aaliya on the other hand is beauty not just with brain but with confidence as well. She is career oriented, driven and believes in DINK (double income no kids) as she gives her professional and personal freedom utmost priority. Aaliya and Shivin get in a relationship which adds an interesting twist to the story. Aaliya gets pregnant with no clue on how she is supposed to deal with the same because it hinders with her ideology. Shivin always wanted to have a child, whereas Aaliya never saw this coming in her way to fulfil her professional dreams.
